This hostel offered a very nice atmosphere, just a stone's throw from the center of Santa Ana. The welcoming receptionist was ready to assist with anything, even arranging transportation for me. The central courtyard provided a lovely space to relax. My room, a Deluxe Queen, was spacious, clean, and featured great air conditioning. However, I had to request cleaning service, which ideally should have been done automatically. The beds could use some improvement. they had noticeable dips in the mattress, impacting sleep quality. Noise from neighboring rooms was occasionally distracting, but it quieted down by 10 PM, making it manageable. The garden area was a delightful touch for some downtime after exploring. No breakfast was included, but there was a shared kitchen available. Overall, I felt secure and appreciated the location and helpful staff immensely.

The room felt a bit claustrophobic without windows, yet the courtyard was lovely.

A well-maintained courtyard garden adds charm.
The air conditioning was essential, but it was difficult to get the temperature just right. My room had no windows, making it feel a bit claustrophobic, especially in the evening. Also, the lack of amenities left much to be desired—the shared kitchen was handy, but finding enough hooks for clothes was a challenge.
